Choptank Health Awarded Weinberg Grant Supporting Kent County Expansion
Choptank Community Health System received a grant from The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation to support the expansion of its Chestertown Health Center, located at 126 Philosophers Terrace. The expansion enables Choptank Health to serve more patients annually and hire essential provider staff.

Choptank Community Health System President and CEO Sara Rich, MPA, has received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Maryland Assembly of School-Based Health Care. Rich was nominated by MASBHC Board President Patryce Toye, MD, on behalf of all Board members.

Choptank Community Health System board member Sara Visintainer was recognized as an Outstanding Rural Community Volunteer by the Rural Maryland Council at their December 4 Annual Dinner and 2024 Rural Impact Award Ceremony, where she was one of eight award winners.
