Carmen Grant, LCSW-C, recently joined the behavioral health care team at Choptank Health’s Easton Health Center. Grant’s experience includes conducting individual therapy, psychosocial assessments, and behavioral consultation, working with patients in school-based environments, and those with serious mental illnesses.

Bill Baxendale has been promoted to Facilities Director at Choptank Health, where he will lead facility operations, oversee construction projects, manage vendor contracts, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards across all sites. He joined Choptank Health in 2021 as Assistant Director of Facilities and Project Manager.
Choptank Health Hosts New Patient Welcome Sessions in Chestertown June 10-12
Choptank Community Health is hosting a series of New Patient Welcome Sessions at its Chestertown Health Center, located at 126 Philosophers Terrace, during select hours on June 10 through June 12. Attendees can receive assistance with completing new patient paperwork and explore insurance options and Choptank Health’s sliding fee program, with translation services available, and walk-ins welcome. Choptank Community Health System President and CEO Sara Rich, MPA, has received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Maryland Assembly of School-Based Health Care. Rich was nominated by MASBHC Board President Patryce Toye, MD, on behalf of all Board members.
